There is an integral water fountain built into the spine of this table that can be heard in a quiet area but not seen and it represents Truth. It has been my observation that Truth, like the water in the fountain, is always present though I mostly deny or simply fail to acknowledge Its presence. It's as if I have fabricated a steel shell around my heart and when I can humbly surrender to this invisible veil that I've created, Truth unfolds and tension relinquishes to peace.
The top is made of black integrally colored concrete with a copper ring cast into it. The spine is made of rusted steel and the base is of recycled oak pallets.
